Pet Portraits by David Sexton
My First Dog, Snoopy
Our good friend David Sexton painted this terrific picture of my first dog Snoopy for my mom.
Of course, since I “got” the dog when I was in grade school and promised to see to his every need, he was in actuality my mother’s dog. Because she was the one in fact who saw to his every need. (Also, isn’t it just like an elementary school kid to name his dog “Snoopy?”)

My mom was very happy when presented with painting. She said David “got his face just right!”
David is the proprietor of the Miami Beach outpost of Painting with a Twist. You can find out more about PWAT by following this link. One of their most popular programs is Paint Your Pet. The next one is scheduled for Saturday, March 24.
