Madison Square Dog Run Renovation
I checked in with the powers-that-be and it looks like the dog run at Madison Square Park is still on track to re-open in June.
The improvements will includes a new layout and redesign of the run, adding approximately 200 sq. feet of space. This will give big and little dogs much more room to play. They’re also making health and safety improvements such as drainage, new fencing, and clean water access.
In the meantime the temporary run just north of the original space is open.
Way back when I first started Urban Dog, I wrote a not-so-glowing review of the Madison Square Park Dog Run. I hope after it reopens I’ll be able to write a more positive review.
