Dog-Friendly Events in New York City in March
After St. Valentine’s Day and the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in February, dog-related and dog-friendly events in New York City are a bit more limited in March.
A monthly regular, and one of my favorites, is the dog-friendly comedy show at Boris & Horton, New York’s first dog-friendly cafe.
Produced by the folks at Must Love Dogs and Comedy, and hosted by Jolie Dudley, it’s a must for any lover of laughs and canines. It’s happening this month on Friday, March 13 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Also taking place this month is a concert at the Museum of the Dog called Canines in Six Musical Portraits: A Dog is a Machine for Loving. Briefly described: “This piece is what happens when a composer spends a decade listening—really listening—to the dogs in his life. Over the course of six movements, we are introduced to a cast of unforgettable canine characters.”
The performance takes place on Saturday, March 28 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
