The AKC Museum of the Dog together with the National Tartan Day New York Committee request the pleasure of your company for an evening of Highland charm and canine grandeur as the Museum proudly presents a special celebration of our newest exhibition, Scotland, the Brave Dogs.

On Monday, April 6, National Tartan Day from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, we will welcome the esteemed Celtic Canines, official ambassadors of the Tartan Day Parade, along with their devoted humans for an official celebration of Tartan Week at the AKC Museum of the Dog. Surrounded by masterpieces celebrating Scotland’s noble breeds, guests will enjoy wine, fine cheeses, and the spirited strains of Scottish music in the company of distinguished members of the Tartan Week community.

An official kickoff to Tartan Week (April 6-April 12) this gathering honors the enduring bond between Scotland and her remarkable dogs.

Important Event Details:

While the AKC Museum of the Dog is proud to celebrate canine companions, this event is not a general dog-friendly program. Only invited Celtic Canines participating as official ambassadors of the National Tartan Day NYC Parade are permitted to attend. All invited canine participants must have a completed waiver on file prior to arrival.

MOD Members receive their standard Member admission benefit for this program.
