On July 12, a brand new New York Dog Parade debuts in partnership with L’Alliance New York called and Le Carnaval des Animaux.
Though for those still working on their French, “The Bastille Day Dog Parade” works, too. This French-themed pet parade and costume competition will take over Madison Avenue on July 12 between 59th and 60th Streets, kicking off at 12:15 PM. with a costume competition at 1:30pm.
Of course, berets are welcome! We also encourage you to think beyond the classic beret/stripe combo. We’re envisioning dogs dressed as French delicacies, French art, French fashion, classic cinema! We have our fingers crossed for at least one croissant pug!!!
Oui, cats and other furry friends are welcome, too.
