Paws on the Page: The Inspiration and Art of Dogs of the World

  • Museum of the Dog 101 Park Avenue Manhattan (map)

Join the Museum of the Dog for a presentation and meet and greet with Lili Chin, the author and illustrator of Dogs of the World: A Gallery of Pups From Purebred to Mutts. The presentation will include a conversation with established NYC behaviorist Dr. Andrea Y. Tu, DVM, DACVB, from the Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group.

Lili will chat about how an obsession with drawing dog breeds for a viral poster series culminated in Dogs of the World, a recent finalist in the DWAA competition. Following the presentation there will be a Q&A with time to ask about the book as well as dog health and behavior. The presentation and Q&A will be followed by a book signing. Copies of Dogs of the World will be available for purchase in the AKC Museum of the Dog Shop.

This program takes place on a Furry Friday, so bring your pups along! Admission is free for Members and included with General Admission. Reserve your tickets now!
