October 8, 2021Join The Museum of the Dog for a talk with New York Therapy Animals (NYTA) Executive Director, Nancy George-Michalson. Complementing the current exhibition which highlights the work of search and rescue canines, this talk invites discussion to show how dogs can be used to assist their human counterparts as therapy dogs. Continuing the conversation of the human canine bond, this presentation will highlight the mission of NYTA and even have a team onsite to discuss their own experiences with the organization.
