The Daily Dog: Noelle
Urban Dog and Onpets Giveaway Winner
Noelle’s mom adopted her from Boston Terrier Rescue Canada in March 2014. She came into the rescue three days before Christmas, hence her name. Noelle is five-years-old and she so reminded her mom of the pup she’s lost the year before that she knew she had to pursue adoption. Noelle loves going for rides in the car. If she senses her parents are going out, she follows them everywhere to ensure that she doesn’t miss an excursion in the car. She’s an excellent traveler and sits quietly in the back seat or lies in her bed and doesn’t make a sound.

Noelle also loves to eat and she lets her mom know when she’s ready for her supper by “singing!” She lets out a strange serious of cries, whimpers, and woofs every night at the same time to remind mom that it’s her mealtime. As if her mom could forget!
Noelle is naturally very smart and in the time she’s been in her forever home, her mom has taught her to shake a paw, high five, sit and stay, sit pretty, spin in a circle on her hind legs, and open her crate door (it helps that Noelle food motivated.) Noelle is also very athletic and can jump from the floor to the counter top without any effort at all: a handy trick when you are searching for food!
Noelle is the third Boston Terrier her mom has rescued. She told us “I wouldn’t consider getting a dog any other way as there are so many in need of good homes. I also volunteer for Boston Terrier Rescue Canada so I practice what I preach!”
